About Jeep

Go Anywhere, Do Anything

Born in the heat of battle in 1941, the Jeep brand forged its reputation with the Willys MB, the world's first 4x4. For over 80 years, it has remained the ultimate symbol of freedom and adventure. In India, Jeep is not just a participant but a manufacturing powerhouse; its facility in Ranjangaon, Pune, serves as a global hub for right-hand-drive markets, exporting Made-in-India SUVs to Japan, Australia, and beyond.

Authentic SUV Lineup (2026)

Jeep offers a focused portfolio in India, with every model featuring the brand’s legendary 4x4 DNA:
  • Compass: The model that established Jeep in India. It remains the benchmark for driving dynamics in the compact SUV segment, offering true off-road capability in its "Trailhawk" and 4x4 variants.
  • Meridian: A sophisticated 3-row SUV designed specifically for the Indian market. Recently updated, it now offers both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations along with a full ADAS safety suite, blending family practicality with Jeep toughness.
  • Wrangler: The undisputed icon. Now locally assembled in India, the Wrangler (available in Unlimited and Rubicon trims) offers open-air freedom with removable doors and roof, making it the most capable off-roader you can buy.
  • Grand Cherokee: The luxury flagship that combines refinement with ruggedness. Also locally assembled, it offers a premium tech-laden interior with a Quadra-Trac 4x4 system.

The Jeep Life

Buying a Jeep in India opens the door to the exclusive "Jeep Trails" community. The brand regularly organizes expedition drives to challenging terrains like Ladakh, Spiti, and the Thar Desert, allowing owners to experience the true potential of their vehicles under expert guidance.

Future Ready

As part of the Stellantis "Dare Forward 2030" strategy, Jeep India is preparing for an electrified future. While currently focused on its robust diesel and petrol powertrains, the brand is laying the groundwork to introduce its global portfolio of 4xe (Plug-in Hybrid) and fully electric SUVs to Indian customers in the coming years.
